“The red drum, one of my favorite fish to catch. So many ways and places to catch them. I’ve never really fished shallow water for them, but know they are suckers for gold spoons. I enjoy painting underwater scenes, the way the light refracts through the water’s allows me to combine an abstractness of the surface’s reflection and penetrating light rays with the realism of the fish moving through the water.”
